Join A Committee

COLA has organized committees that deal with a myriad of issues facing our off-leash areas. From maintenance work, organizing events, putting out the newsletter and getting publicity, we need volunteers to help us do our best. If you'd like more information about a committee, or are interested in volunteering, please contact COLA.

Maintenance Committee
Responsible for overall maintenance and improvements to the off-leash areas.

Events Committee
This group is responsible for organizing and staffing events that COLA hosts or partcipates in, such as PAWS Walk, the Furry 5k, Dog-O-Ween and more.

Grassroots Committee
The grassroots committee works with the community and politicians to determine locations for new off-leash areas, expansion possibilities, and more.

Publications Committee
This committee produces all COLA communications, including the Web site, newsletter, flyers, maps and signage.

Membership Committee
Responsible for maintaining the membership database, sending out renewals, and standardizing information.

Education Committee
This group provides educational outreach to the community and information for the media.
