Golden Gardens

Golden Gardens Off-Leash Area is a fenced area located uphill to the east of the Golden Gardens beach area. Your dog can run and play with other dogs in this wide enclosure. It has a natural slope that makes it ideal for throwing balls, too. Plenty of benches provide places for visitors to sit. A restroom is located nearby for easy access to water.

Previously Golden Gardens had problems with erosion and water run-off in the southwest corner, but the area has now been fenced off and plants have been planted to help absorb the water. You can help out at the park by taking a few minutes when you're at the park to help spread wood chips. Thanks and hope to see you there!

Steward: Carina Van Derleest

Directions: Located at 8498 Seaview Place NW, in Ballard. The off-leash site is located in the upper or eastern portion of the park, not in the lower beach area.
