Northacres
Northacres is a wooded area with nature trails, perfect for dogs and dog owners wanting a stroll through the park. It is less suitable for ball-throwing (for that, try other off-leash areas with wide open areas). It features fenced-off habitat islands that preserve the native plants, with paths winding between them, and an outer gravel trail. Amenities include a double-gated entrance, a full fence, water, picnic table, and sani-can for environmentally-friendly poop disposal. The forest growth at Northacres Park is one of the few in North Seattle, so please be respectful of the environment when you visit. Steward: Pam Masse Directions: Located west of I-5 at North 130th Street. The off-leash area is in the northeast corner of the park. There is parking at the round-a-bout next to the ballfield.
